This is the title of a book that describes the Roma situation in Slovenia and Europe through 600 years of history and how the majority of the population changed their attitude towards Roma in from bad to worse as time went on. The event was on 4 August 2016 in front of the Bookstore Goga. Dr Andrej Studen spoke how in all European history it is difficult to find, besides Roma and Jews, a nation or ethnicity which was so stigmatised, condemned, untrusted and persecuted. The difference is that we heard a lot about the Jewish Holocaust, but only in the last years we are learning about Porajmos – the genocide of Roma during World War II.
