Research on minorities and issues that are troubling Roma people was conducted in Zagreb and Međimurje County in schools among pupils and teachers and in local Roma and non-Roma community. Upon conducted research, a brochure with research results has been designed and printed. Research was conducted on 187 Roma and non Roma people (100 Roma and non Roma people was planned by the project).
The research presented a base for all activities that followed. We have organized two capacity building trainings for 20 CSOs with the following topics: a) human rights; b) position of Roma people in our society; c) importance of collaboration and networking of CSOs and d) strengthening the visibility of CSOs dealing with human rights issues. 20 CSOs, 23 participants (project indicator: 20 participants). We established FB page Mreža za zaštitu i promociju ljudskih prava/Network for the promotion and protection of human rights (https://www.facebook.com/gelemgelemworld4them/timeline ), which served as a point for gathering and communication among all concerned CSO (dealing with human rights, especially Roma rights). 11 CSO became the membes of the Network.
