Bojan Tudija, Born 19.6.1958, Novo mesto, Pot v gaj 40, 8000 Novo mesto, Slovenia.
Bojan Tudija is an independent entrepreneur. With its principled behavior, it gained its reputation, great respect, and the trust of the Roma and non-Roma, not only in its own neighborhood, but throughout Slovenia. He says that he has been dealing with Roma issues for 30 years and has actively entered politics in 2006. Two times was elected as the council member KS Šmihel, he was vice-president of the Union of Roma of Slovenia and the Council of the Roma Community, and a councilor in the Novo mesto municipal council on the List for the Development of the Economy, at the moment municipal council on the List of Alilance for Novo mesto. Two mandates was in still is a member of governamental comisson for Monitoring the Roma situation in Republic Slovenia. Municipality of Novo mesto awarded him in 2012 with the Municipal Coat of Arms for long years of success in the integration and cooperation of the Roma and non – Roma community. He recorded his life story on the film band Filip Robar Dorin as part of the trilogy Opre Roma. In 2016 was awarded by Company Wall Business Certificate for succesful ended bussines year 2015.
Bojan Tudija has lived his whole life in the Roma settlement of Šmihel, which is the most arranged Roma settlement in Novo mesto today. His parents were among the first families who settled this area. His father arrived here in 1956.
Bojan Tudija gained his reputation, great respect and trust of the Roma and non-Roma with his principled behaviour, not only in his own neighborhood but in the whole of Slovenia. “It is necessary to have the same criteria for all. Listen to both sides”.
