Took place on 9th February at the University of Reggio Emilia a Round Table Promoted by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia – Social Services in the framework and with the support of the European Project PAL.
A moment of confrontation of inclusive Education attended by over forty GUESTS Including the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, the Director of Social Services, professors and students of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Directors of comprehensive schools of the city, teachers and educators from the private social cooperatives.
Speakers included the scientific coordinator of the Ministerial Project “National Project for the inclusion and integration of Roma children, Sinti and Travellers”, a representative of the Municipality of Bologna and teachers of comprehensive schools from Bologna.
More in-depth knowledge of the national framework of the strategy and of some national best practices from other cities, has been an opportunity to reflect on the current status of school inclusion of Sinti and Roma children in our city, highlighting critical issues and Strengths.
