Desire of training

Alexandru, 19, has started working at 15 and half years old. He has gone through different phases in his life. He arrived in France when he was 15, in 2013. He wanted to go to school to study and with the help of the local authorities that is what he did and went to a sort of vocational school.

Then, he did an internship in maintenance of public gardens. He kept doing internships and passed the different steps in this school.

“Now, I would like to find a job because I am unemployed. But first I want to go to training for painting because during my internships it was something I was good at”.

“At first my parents did not agree with my choices and what I wanted to do. But I had a talk with my father and I told him ‘if I choose my way, let me do it, I will make my way’ and then he agreed with me”.

The main obstacle for Alexandru was that he wanted to work immediately. Today he understood that he could have a training to improve his skills through a paid training. So that he will spend both time in school and at work and finally find a job in something he likes.
